About Me
I was born in Romania in 1939, at the beginning of the Second World War. At the age of five, I left Romania with my family and immigrated to Israel.
I spent my childhood in Kiryat Shmona and later at Kibbutz Kfar Menahem. Before dedicating myself to art, I worked as an economist at Israel Aircraft Industries.
Working primarily in oil paint, I depict the beauty of the Israeli landscape, with a particular focus on rural villages, agricultural scenes, and open countryside. My paintings are deeply influenced by childhood memories of both Romania and Israel, and reflect a lasting connection to the landscapes, colours, and atmosphere of those places.
